Tony Salgado

Virginia State Ambassador & 17U Head Coach

Tony Salgado

Tony has coached Northern Virginia for almost 20 years. He's coached high school ball at PVI, college summer ball, and travel baseball at all levels. Tony is a teacher in Fairfax county and he prides himself on being a great role model for the next generation.

Alex Preston

Director of Player Development US Elite Virginia

Alex Preston

Coach Preston is a former VCU baseball player who has spent the last 6 years managing facilities, coaching travel/showcase baseball, and training athletes. He is a character first coach who understands the demands of playing high level baseball.

Kurt Hewes

Owner/Founder of Ignite Baseball Head 13U Coach of Arlington Team

Kurt Hewes

Kurt has been coaching baseball since 2010 and have been training athletes/running Ignite since it began in 2016. As a coach, it’s his goal to develop baseball players, not robots. On his teams failure is embraced as a part the path towards our goal. Hard work, and respect for others will be very important for players on his team.

Corey Sethi

Corey Sethi

Corey is an organizational wizard. She has experience as a teacher, and as a school administrator. She makes sure all of our trains are running on time. You will enjoy working with her as much as we do.

Doug Arguello

13U Head Coach Loudon

Doug Arguello

Doug has 13 years of experience playing professional baseball, peaking at Triple-A in the Houston Astros organization. He is the assistant coach at 2022 Class 6 State Champion Freedom South Riding High School. He also is the owner and operator of plus Baseball in Streling, VA.

Sebastian Cooper

17U Head Coach

Sebastian Cooper

Coach Sebastian Cooper won back to back league championships in the first two years of the Washington Latin Baseball program’s existence. He believes that it takes a strong community, commitment to excellence, and a lot of fun to play winning baseball.

Anthony Rohman

14U Head Coach Arlington

Anthony Rohman

Coach Rohman has been coaching for our organization for the past 3 years and has proven to be an excellent coach who has demonstrated time and time again to not only be a knowledgeable coach but also to have a high level of emotional intelligence. He’s a great guy and will be a positive influence on your son.

Felix Zamot

14U Assistant Arlington

Felix Zamot

Coach Zamot has been with our since 2019, previously he was the head coach of our 17U team and did an excellent job. Felix is someone we would typically hire as a head coach but his schedule is such that it's difficult for him to be the head coach at this point. Coach Zamot played college ball at Salem State University in Massachusetts.

Joey Brown

15U US Elite Assistant

Joey Brown

Joey played 2 years at Penn State Altoona (earning AMCC All tournament team in 2019), before he finished his degree at Penn State main campus. He’s a very professional guy/coach that will be an asset both as a mentor for your kids, and as a baseball coach.

Michael (Scooter) Abarham

17U Assistant

Michael (Scooter) Abarham

Scooter was a 2 time All-State Shortstop. His team won the Idaho 5A State Championship. After High School, he played at Walla Walla Community College and1 Season for the Idaho Cubs before medical problems derailed his playing career. He now works as a professional musician.

Ryan Breyer

13U Assistant Arlington

Ryan Breyer

Coach Ryan Breyer. has been coaching 13U for six seasons. He's a Northern New Jersey native. He played through high school until injury unfortunately ended his player career. In college he co-vfounded the club baseball team at Roanoke College. His favorite part of coaching is helping athletes develop their passion for the game.

Kenny Thomas

15U Head Coach

Kenny Thomas

5 years as Varsity assistant at DeToledo High School in West Hills, CA. Coached for the CA Prospects 15, 16, and 18U. Sherman Oak Athletics 18U Head Coach. 2-time draft pick out of high school and college. Worked with Rowan University in the fall when they won the D3 national championship.
